BE CAREFUL....Most scam modification company's are located in California. I was scammed out of $3000 by National Relief Group. Its always best to work directly with your mortgage company. And that will not cost you anything.

Click "View BBB Report" above and go to "View Complaints" to familiarize yourself with what you could expect if you were to deal with this company.
california is correct in that if dealing with your lender directly is an option, it is the best way to go...
Also, you can try calling a HUD-approved nonprofit housing counselor. You can speak with a certified counselor by calling 888-995-4673. They can evaluate your housing options, open lines of communication with mortgage lenders, negotiate a loan modification, and help you with household budgeting, all at no cost.
