I wouldn't pay anything because you did not agree to purchase the magazines in the first place right? When you called the second time after being charged, what was the reason they told you that you couldn't cancel the subscriptions? I would not pay any invoice that comes. Because you initially contacted them and the rep told you that you had no existing account, I would fight, because that is misleading. I'm sorry that you had to go through the trouble of getting a Visa, but I think you did the right thing there, for your peace of mind. But they did you wrong. I would even look into getting a refund because of their misleading tactics. Hope this helps.
