Great Company to Refinance
I just refinanced my home with 1st Pacific Capital. Sonya Hadley was great. I tried to refinance through all the programs that are supposed to help you Harp, HUD, Fannie Mae, my own mortgage company, and no one would touch me because my debt/income is high. I've never been late on my payments, have good credit and a good job yet no one would help me. All I wanted was to refi and reduce my payments. Sonya took care of everything with e-mails and a few phone calls. I can't believe how painless it was and reduced my payments $600! I'm so happy with Sonya and 1st Pacific Capital that I already recommended them to co-workers. Thanks Sonya!

My wife and I have used 1st Pacific Capital twice in 2011 to refinance our mortgage and are very happy with their service. Melissa Brown assisted us both times and she was timely, streamlined, and professional at every turn. She kept me informed and educated me along the way and then delivered the end result - a great 30 year rate mortgage that many others, including a place like Greenlight Financial, couldn't beat. Most of the work was done by e-mail, fax, some by phone, and at the end the Notary came to out to our home to sign papers. I'd recommend 1st Pacific Capital in general and particularly Melissa Brown to anyone looking for the lowest rate and great service.

I had to refinance my home mortgage because my current lender doubled the minimum payment. I search several sites and inquired about their rates. I immediately received several phone calls and e-mails and was quite frankly overwhelmed! But one e-mail immediately caught my eye with the subject matter: "Have You Been Bombarded!". I checked out the e-mail and found that 1st Pacific Capital Corp. had ALL positive reviews. I send Melissa Brown an e-mail and all my correspondences were done via e-mail. They were fast, efficient, and very compassionate about my needs during this crucial time in my life. Their rates were very resonable and I got the customer service which is very rare nowadays! Refinancing can be frustrating and nerve-racking. However I found that I was in good hands with Elenna Tobin. Elenna is someone you can trust to get the job done. It was a little over one year ago that I had the good fortune of finding Elenna Galitzen Tobin, the president of 1st Pacific Capital Corp. I had been searching for over 6 months for someone that could get me refinanced at a lower rate. I was currently in the 3rd year of a 10 year ARM at 6%. I spoke to several brokers to no avail. Along came Elenna and she got me into a 7 year ARM at 4% within 3 weeks! Being the professional that Elenna is, she contacted me 1 year later suggesting that she would like to try to get me into a 30 year fixed at pretty much the same rate and I was delighted. However, I put Elenna to task again when I told her that I would like to pay off my HELOC and have everything in a 30 year fixed. Because of her hard work and fortitude, she got the new loan approved. I can honestly say that I doubt that anyone else would have had the wherewithal and/or the willingness to expend the effort to make this happen.
To summarize, I would highly recommend Elenna and her company---very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with!

1st Pacific Capital Corp. Comes through again
From the very beginning of our refinancing effort, we have had continuous support from 1st Pacific Capital Corp. Either by e-mail or directly by phone, we reviewed with 1St Pacific, each and every step during this process. As a Navy veteran, I was especially pleased that someone cared enough to ask me about my service and about use of my VA loan. After all, I was discharged in 1954 and in any previous real estate procedures, nobody ever asked. But 1st Pacific did and the result was a better loan at a lower cost. Both my wife Alice and I have had the good fortune to deal with Elenna Tobin directly and she is a Godsend. Even when things in our minds might have looked less than rosy, her cheerful responses always buoyed our spirits. 1st Pac came through again when VA loan rates came down in Jan 2012. We didn't call them, they called us. With their help, our payment was reduced by about $300 per month.
Now that's service!

I recently refinanced my long time home loan. Melissa was one of many who wanted by business. Melissa was the first to give me, without me asking, much needed information and help. She answered all my questions and the process zoomed along quickly. The others were still bugging me but had given me no info or help. I would recommend 1st Pacific Capital and Melissa Brown to anyone undertaking, what can be, a nerve racking process. I actually am glad I know Melissa is there when ever I need her.

I have been in the Financial Services Business for 30 years. I was doing my loan through another Company when Elenna Galitzen Tobin called me. She is a true professional and knows every answer to every question all the time. We closed our loan in just under two weeks from start to finish. She is just fantastic, outstanding and the only person I would ever call if you want it done right. I was so impressed that I referred my daughter and the loan was done. After four months dealing with a different company,suppling them with a mountain of data and signing the final docs the transaction fell apart.At this point I went on line with basic information and received numerous call backs with in a few minutes.The response that we most impressed with was received from Jeanette Richardson by e-mail. We were impressed with this form of response, and contacted Jeanette and explained the problems we had.Jeanette informed us that she did not understand what went wrong but she would get it done Approximately thirty days later the loan was funded.We were very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism,and personal touch provided by Mrs Richardson. I am recommending 1st Pacific Capital Corp based upon a home refinance that I've just completed. Their Senior Account Executive, Jeannette Richardson and staff member Melissa Brown (title unknown) were knowledgeable, pleasant business persons, very service oriented and patient with all of my questions. I received an excellent interest rate and was charged fair costs to complete the transaction. Processing happened as quickly as I would let it after my reading every piece of paperwork involved in the transaction. The purpose of every document that I signed was explained to my satisfaction. I always was able to reach my account representative or receive a return phone call or email response quickly, with info to the point. Escrow closing was fast and timely in accordance with their forecasted date. This has been a most satisfactory business transaction.

I worked with Elenna Galitzen on my refinance for about 1 year. My home value dropped due to the economy and banks had 80% LTV requirements. During this time, I worked with many companies to try and get the mortgage refinanced but always game back to Elenna due to her knowledge, her professionalism, patience, and lack of pushy salesman attitude. I always felt that she was there to watch out for my best interest and even advised me to not make choices that were not beneficial for me.
We finally managed to get the loan done at a great interest rate which reduced my short term monthly payments and long term interest rate payments. Overall, win-win-win!
If I have to do another mortgage or refinance, I will start with Elenna.
