Very relaxed, stress free move with Acclaimed!
Yup, these guys were great. I am so happy my husband found them! Moved from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom condo. We are also using their storage facility and so far everything is going great. Professionalism at its finest.

Great company
Honest and reliable company. No hidden fees just make sure you thoroughly read contract and make sure inventory is as complete as possible. They quoted me and I filled out inventory checklist. Price didn't change and my items were all in tact. I am glad

Acclaimed does it best!
Acclaimed is the best moving company I have ever used. They were professional, reliable, fast and efficient. They had no hidden fees, nor did they try to sell me any materials or try to prolong the job for extra hours.
I also have been using their storage for my items and no problems have occurred what so ever.

Trustworthy Moving Company
I am not surprised that Acclaimed Movers has 5 stars all around. Let me add onto their 5 stars by adding my own and recommending them to anyone that needs to move. I personally found Acclaimed through the BBB, and I want to spread the word to others because I know how difficult it can be to find a trustworthy moving company. Acclaimed did my move just the way I wanted it with no extra charges. I always hear complaints the many moving companies charge more than what they promised on the quote. Fortunately, I did not have this problem. I got charged for what I was promised by the sales person. The movers were great and they finished the job in a timely fashion. Acclaimed Movers are now my official moving company. Thank you guys for the great job.

Creme de la Creme of Moving
Acclaimed Movers really are the creme de la creme of moving. This was my first time moving, and I heard from my friends to be very cautious of moving companies. So to make sure that I got the best moving company, I checked BBB. Surely enough I came up with Acclaimed Movers, an A+ on the BBB and 5 star reviews on other websites. Being really impressed, I gave them a call.
I spoke to a sale representative by the name of Sam. She was very polite and energetic. I told her my situation and about my move. We shared some good laughs and had a good conversation. She never pushed me to buy or anything like that. She emailed me a very reasonable and detailed quote. At this point, I was already sold. They seemed like the perfect moving company, and they were.
A week later, on the day of the move, my movers came to start the job. It was 4 men, all very professional and looked fairly strong. They conversated with me during the moving process and made me feel very comfortable about moving my personal belongings. They packed and loaded everything into their truck in around 2 hours. Very quick and efficient, I was honestly shocked on how fast they emptied out my house.
Same thing when we arrived to my new location. They unloaded all my stuff and put it where I wanted them too. They were very polite. The entire job was done in around 4 hours.
Choosing Acclaimed Movers was the best choice I made in my move.

Hassle-Free Move
House moving could be quite a stressful experience, well you have to arrange several things especially the moving company you would hire. Well I used the service of Acclaimed Movers to help us on our house moving. On the day of the move, the acclaimed mover's workers came about 20 minutes earlier than than the time we agreed on. Nothing is more stressful than your movers coming late, trust me I know. They began to move our stuff from largest to smallest. They really managed to fit everything in an organized manner in the truck so that everything fits and that it is safe and secure inside the truck. By seeing what they did I was confident that these guys are really professionals. They finished loading all the stuff in the truck in about an hour. When we got to our new house, the workers helped us move everything back inside. They were very polite and patient with all our stuff. All together with the packing the driving and unloading took us a little less than 3 hours. I am really satisified with the excellent service.

Great moving experience
I had a great moving experience. I usually don't like to move because of the stress that is involved but these guys made my moving experience a lot different. From the beginning, I felt that I made a good choice hiring Acclaimed Movers. Everything ran smoothly with no surprises. They definitely deserve 5 stars. 3 fit and professional looking guys with proper equipment did the job in no time.Everything was done on time from begining to end.They got to my house on time, as promised and finished with a quick delivery. I will definitely recommend this service to all my friends and family.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
The worst experience of my life!!!! Do not use these scam artists unless you want to be overcharged!!! Do not use these crooks unless you want all your valuables destroyed!!!! They also took 6 weeks to deliver my belongings after they promised them in 2. They will lie to you every step of the way,,,they will leave out valuable information about additional insurance and what they will actually cover. You will not see the contract until they arrive to pick up your things and then it is too late to review the contract carefully!! Don't use this company it will be the biggest mistake of your life!!! Even sending this review, requires me to give them one star,,,which they don't deserve!!!

A moving company value is that final goal or end to which I needed. The standard by which I was treated and handled elevated my trust in movers again. An organized full of life is what I got this move we just completed. Acclaimed Movers and Storage standard of value is what made me write this review. that which furthers good life and energy around my family is good. My last experience was so stressful so we did our homework and asked friends on LA Movers they would recommend. We ordered an on site estimate from Acclaimed Movers so that there was no contradiction in terms and that they saw everything and in return i would get a binding quote. The estimate was at 10 hours but the bright eyed, energetic crew, Danny, James, and Steven worked hard the hole day. Time ended up being 7 hours, which when the bill was presented it was $300 cheaper than estimated. This is true value and service and will definitely gain my recommendation to anyone to use this Los Angeles moving company to ship you to the east coast. Thank you Burg's

Glad found this moving company.
Few days back, my parents along with me relocated from Los Angeles to Minnesota and had a positive experience with Acclaimed Movers. Everything was managed very seamlessly and at affordable price. Crews were indeed professional as they did take care to cover up our furniture and box cartoons. Again, they packed up all our items including glasses, dishes and kitchen items and moved them without even a single scratch on them. They did a great job and I would not only like to thank them but also like to refer them to my friends and relatives. It nice to find have good moving service and thank you BBB for service for connecting good company's with consumers.

Over $1600 for a 30 mile move of a LIGHTLY furnished 2 bed apt?
The only good thing I have to say is that the movers and the office guys were nice. I was quoted $79/hr plus double that for drive time between locations. We took several loads in our suv before the move & prepared as well as possible. You can do the math, but good luck getting the bill up to well over $1600. We still tipped the movers cuz it wasn't really their fault. When I called and asked if I could pay straight time for travel they said NO and that ALL of the extra charges (overtime,double time travel, crates, "fuel cost" (doesn't the double time on driving cover that?), etc,, etc.) were customary. We have a claim pending (which is apparently handled by a 3rd party insurance co,) for 2 cuts on an almost new sofa. I'll update our review when we see the result of that issue. Our advice is to be very careful with the "quote" from Acclaimed Movers.

Just to preface, Im not a person who writes and complains, nor do I write glowing reviews when people do their jobs. That's what they get paid for, and it's what I expect. Now that's out the way, I want to let everyone who reads this that I had one of the best moving experience of my 52 years on this earth this past weekend. I am an avid gun collector and have two large safes for my rifles, and one smaller one for my pistols. The smaller one itself is a pain in the you know what, the large safes are almost impossible to move around with three guys when I first moved in. Needless to say, I had door jambs that needed to be replaced because of them some 10 years back. I moved to a smaller place being a widower, and not needing all the room our house had. There were quite a few items that are just irreplaceable to me, from my wife, that holds sentimental value and easily breakable. I had the boys at Acclaimed Movers do pretty much all the packing, and told them to please be extra careful with those items. Their guys Maurice and Gabriel took the time to listen to my story, and understand what those items meant to me. They promised on their honor not one item would be changed from when they packed it, and unpacked it at my new house. I was hoping for the best, but I know things happen. The move went well, no door jambs were destroyed, I really didn't do much except drink coffee and answering the odd question that came up once in awhile. The drive wasn't too far, as I only moved 45 minutes away in the valley. The un loading was done in less than an hour, but I didn't see where my wife's boxes were. Maurice pointed over to a few box like shapes that were wrapped 3 times in moving blankets. They told me they were the last boxes loaded and first ones out. When they unloaded for me, I had my fingers crossed that everything was still intact. Notably a large Asian porcelain doll that my wife and I bought when were in Japan that she loved so much and was the center piece of her collection. When they opened the boxes, I couldn't believe the care that went into the packing. All of her dolls were bubble wrapped, with spacers, and papers stacked neatly and safely. I am actually tearing up a bit writing this, because it means that much to me. So if you are reading this, it's from a guy who means every word from the heart when I say, that I'll be the first to use Acclaimed Movers if I ever move again, and will give two thumbs up referrals to anyone who asks me if I know an excellent moving company that cares.

I had a move with another company, who out of the blue called me and said they wouldn't be able to move me today because their truck broke. I called a few places and got a hold of Acclaimed who said they had a truck avail that did early morning moves but had time in the afternoon to move me. Talk about a life saver. I got their estimate manager over within an hour, and found out it cost less to move with acclaimed than the previous one who cancelled. It's been two days, got all of my boxes unpacked, and no damage. That makes me even happier. Thanks to Acclaimed and Aaron who was so nice on the phone.

My faith is restored in decent people. After getting the run around with another local moving company that will remain unnamed, I got referred to Acclaimed Movers. At first I was a little put off with them, after the last mess up. That quickly changed after talking to their onsite estimate manager Jamie. He won me over with his honesty and professional no nonsense approach, I signed up on the spot. Day of the move was fantastic, I was greeted by two guys how took care of my things, wrapped and not thrown around. They moved me with zero headaches. Great experience all around!

I recently hired Acclaimed Movers based on these positive Yelp reviews and star ratings--and I am really glad chose them.
I had to move from LA to the SF bay area I thought I could just rent a truck, hire some local movers to load the truck, and some movers at the destination to unload the truck and drive north. But then I had to get my car transported, I have a dog... it started to get more complicated than across-town moves and I was running out of time.
I emailed Jamie and he called, then came out for an estimate (labor day am!) and gave me an up-front fair price. Acclaimed Movers emailed a confirmation, called ahead of time, and showed up on time.
I packed everything and had everything ready so the team could just focus on loading up. Instead of moving me over two days as quoted, they moved me in a single day! Everyone was very friendly, professional, and master-level movers. I just have bachelor style furniture but the guys wrapped everything like they were moving museum relics. The team was really fast, but not careless. They moved my sofa out of my apartment in a minute that took other movers thirty mininutes to move in. They were able to get a fridge into my new place as well that seemed hopeless at first. The Everything Box turned out to be a real time saver as well.
Nothing damaged (even though I packed my own boxes--I'm no pro) no walls scratched, and they really came through with short notice. The guys who moved me were very dog friendly as well.
Acclaimed Movers offers a fair price for a superior level of professional service that is sadly a rarity today. Thanks guys!

As a business - Acclaimed Movers is motivated by one thing--- Get as much of your money for as little effort as possible. Let me illustrate this.
We recently hired Acclaimed Movers for a move North. From the beginning it was clear they wanted to get a deposit as fast as possible. Actually - I am
ok with that -- So what do you get for your money? No customer service what so ever. We logged many many phone messages to Jamie our sales person who never returned calls --- even when he said he would. Again - as little effort as possible. The day of the move -- three people show up - one lead man who was actually organized and seemed to take his job seriously. However - one of the people with them was completely stoned on speed. They admitted this and said they would "keep him in the Truck".
Buyer beware - Acclaimed plays a shell game with your goods. The "estimated
weight" charge is with intent - low balled. This is to force you pay more
at the other end to release your furniture and belongings. In doing some research - we found this to be a well known practice. Acclaimed does NOT
really take very good care to make you feel at ease during a stressful time.
IN fact -- they often scold you and tell you how problematic you are being.
My belief is that this happens when you press them for clarification on total
cost -- which again is a big secret until you get to the other end.
IMHO -- Acclaimed Movers should be investigated for deceptive and unlawful
business practice based on the Fair Claims and Settlement Act. DO NOT hire
this company if you want a.) piece of mind and b.) clarification on what total costs are.

Likewise, our professional and friendly staff members do not use drugs, nor do we conduct business in any of the other mannerisms your contrived review describes. What a truly stupendous showmanship of professionalism. I was blown away. It's good to see good old fashioned honest business values are still around in Los Angeles in the smaller companies clearly hurting more during this recession. Acclaimed did a great job from handling the payment to moving me to my new condo. Great job, highly recommend.
Hope my reviews help the people of my fair city see that these guys are great :)

Good Thing I have My buddies to advise me on moving companies! I must have researched dozens of companies and was about to just hire a couple guys and rent a truck. My wife was about to have a nervous breakdown, then my Buddy from work told me about this company. He used them and had no problems. No surprise costs or broken items. Job took a little longer than the guys expected, Thanks to my Beautiful wife not packing a single item! (even though they told her to go on the website to learn how to pack things) Love her anyway...
They did the packing and were pros at it. They didn't scratch up my pool table when hoisting it up to the 3rd level of our condo and when they got it up the people on the street that were watching and filming all started to yell and clap. It was a good way for us to meet the neighbors. (aside from my cop uniform)
Thanks Manuel, you were right again buddy. This was alot better than doing it myself, My back is still in tact!
