they are crooks

please dont buy a car from them. they are very rude there and mary isnt freindly either. she works in the finance department. i bought an SuV from them and i had it 4 months and had to put oil in it 3 times. they look like junk cars. they are all dented
up and scrached and most of them smoke really bad. william the salesman told me my SuV smoked because it was cold. i really beleive that there is something bad wrong with it. i had to give it back. i got behind on the payments and mary didnt want to work it
out so i told them to come pick it up. please listen to all of us and dont go down there. as soon as i got to the dealership i had a bad feeling about this place. im glad my son and his friend was with me because william tried taking advantage of me because
im a female so any female you better take a guy with you because he will do that to you too. he tried selling me this little car and it was smoking very bad. he tried telling me it was smoking because it was cold. he is creepy too. they were selling me my
97 ford explore 4x4 which didnt even work for 7,000.00. i was told by another dealer they should have sold it to me for 2.800.00 to 3,000.00 the most. that is a rip off. when i bought it the window didnt work and they had no spare tire. i had to go to pick
a part for them to fix those problems. my door didnt lock. the whole time i had it , it was flashing 4x4 low what ever that meant. so please dont go there. i hope they do get in trouble and loose their lisence. they are taking advantage of us poor people that
have bad credit and they know it and dont even care or have a heart. thanks for listening. i hope i did some damage to there company.

Its not worth it

I was one of the lucky ones who didn't fall for their tricks. The place looked like a junk yard and the cars looked like they were about to break down on you any moment. They advertise on Craigslist all the time but the cars they have there are nothing like the cars advertised. They had 200 saturn 4cyl 89,000 mileage, I called the guy and specifically asked about that car and he said to come there and check it out. Since I didn't live that far I decided to check it out. As soon as I got their a sales men came out and the first thing he told me was that for the down payment I have he only had one car available. It wasn't the Saturn but a 1994 Plymouth. I knew there was something wrong with the car because when I got there the car was on and it looked like they were trying to warm it up so it doesn't stall when I test drove it. I finally decided to test drive it and the moment I left the place I knew that the car was in a horrible condition. It sounded like a truck shaked like crazy, the gas was very weak and the breaks sounded like a train. What I liked about the guy is that he didn't try and force me to buy it but could tell that he wasn't being honest with me and told him I'll take a pass on it. PEOPLE THERE'S A REASON THEY DON'T DO A CREDIT CHECK. If you decide to go there take a friend so your not obliged to have to get a car that same day. Im glad i took my mom with me.

BEYOND RIP OFF ...

Ok, I admit, first off ... I got behind on my payments soon after I got the car. The reason, I had to recertify for my benefits. Here's the thing ... no calls, no notices, they came to Oceanside where I am visiting and took the car. Frankly, that's not the most upsetting part .... the most upsetting part is that their agent during the course of doing THEIR business used the credit card I had accidentally left in the center console. These people are a huge disaster. I will be doing everything in my power to see their licenses revoked and criminal charges pressed against each and every one of them.

They act as if they are doing you a favor by working with you, in reality, they are severely taking advantage of your situation.

Also, note that on their website they state that they have an "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau. NOT TRUE. Their rating is "B," and they have numerous complaints of the same nature.

Any and all, beware!

Wow

Im glad Im not the only person they ripped off..I mean that by saying I thought I was stupid or doing something wrong...These people are fucking crazy and shouldnt even be in business..One of my many fucked up incidents with these people was almost a deadly one..I drove off with a car that I bought from them within 10 minutes after leaving the lot im on the freeway and the brakes went out..I had no freakin breaks..They bs their way out of it and I was stupid and continue to deal with them but it was one headache after another..in a 1 years time I went through 5 cars with them...they all were a piece of shit..Until I finally told them to pick the shit up..Not to mention somehow they were running my atm card whenever they freaking wanted and took whatever they wanted I didnt find out until I called the bank and backtracked my transactions..in 1 years time I was supposed to have paied about 2700 bux. Somehow they swindled over 4 grand..watch them please I almost went to jail I wanted to nevermind..Just stay away..

Something very similar happened to me, just like Philip. They are a bunch of scam artists. I am financing a 2001 mitsubishi mirage from County Auto Finance. While filling out their "contract" they tried to get me to sign a contract stating that I would pay $1500 in the course of 1 month which is diffrent from what they advertise and verbally said payments of $125 a week or $250 biweekly. I straight up asked the lady doing my contract, whether I would have to pay the $625 and she said "no, the reason they have it like that on the contract as a lump sum is because they don't have enough space on their contract" . My boyfriend was with me and knew something fishy was going on and that was a load of b.s. they were saying. He insisted they write up a new contract, which they hesitantly did. We drive off with the car and I get a call later on saying they have bad news. Bad news is they somehow forgot to mention that the car is a salvaged vehicle, and therefore, we have to go back and sign a new contract. (Which by the way they committed fraud by not disclosing this information) I don't understand how they could not know about the car they are selling. I can infer from this they aren't happy with the contract we signed, because my boyfriend had them rewrite a new contract which would not make us legally bound to pay the $1500 in a month (which is what they were trying to do). Overall, this company is not one to be trusted. They try to act slick and get you to sign on the contract a payment plan which they know damn well you cannot afford, since afterall you had to come to that piece of sh*t lot in the first place. They say one thing, but try to trick you to sign another.

Stay FAR, FAR, FAR away from County Auto Finance! These guys are a bunch of rude rip-offs trying to steal your money! Customer service doesn't even EXIST here! No one came out their little room to assist us even when we knocked on the door! Finally someone came out being rude saying we called to much and we're bothering him! It's called being an educated consumer. We asked for one car specifically. Asked all possible questions about it and salesman lied to us over and over again. The car was NOT as advertised; it wasn't even the advertised model or engine. Cars looked like they just came out of a junk yard. All the cars there were in TERRIBLE condition and barely ran. They had mechanics supposedly fixing the cars right in front of their so called business. Check engine lights were on, engine sounded like it was about to die, transmission problems, oh and my personal favorite- one car's driver seat wasn't even BOLTED down! We checked out 6 different cars there. Nothing but rip offs, liars, and thieves. They're charging over three times the actual value of these cars. Stay away from them! I was so excited. They had an ad up for a 2002 Kia Spectra GSX - alloy wheels, spoiler, V6, power windows/locks. I told them that it was going to cost me $100.00 in gas to get there and asked them to promise the car that I wanted was going to be there. He kept saying "we can't hold any cars for you, for any amount of time, just hurry your buns down here". I guess he was trying to be cute. Anyways, I get down there, and he takes the Lord's name in vain while complaining to me that I called too much. How disgustingly rude of that jerk. Then, after making us wait for a half hour, he finally comes out of his little room thing and says that they still have the car I wanted. I was overflowing with joy. Then he had someone pull up in it. Oh yes, it was a red Kia Spectra alright - with STEEL wheels, messed up rim covers, tires well beyond replacement point, NO spoiler (it was just a lip), NO power windows or locks, rear bumper smashed, engine MISSING FLUID CAPS, car barely started. And,are you ready for the grand finale....?...HE LIED ABOUT WHAT MODEL IT WAS ALTOGETHER!!! It wasn't a GSX at all! It was a GS! I made a 200 mile round trip for these people! They gave me their word. I guess they figured that if I wasted all that money getting there then I wouldn't leave empty-handed. WRONG! I'm extremely lucky that I had my friend with me to talk me out of it.

I went to these guys after seeing an ad on Craigslist. Their ad looked good - no credit check and only $250 down. Looked real good because my credit stinks and I didn't have much cash. They sold me a 1997 Honda Civic and instead of $250 down I had to pay a total of $1500 DOWN over the next month plus the $249 car payment. They were real slick about that and after I got the car one week it broke down on the 405 and had to be towed back to them. The car was a piece of garbage and they wouldn't even fix it. They said that I ran it without water in the radiater and the engine locked up. I had the car ONE WEEK and it was my fault there was no water in the radiater. What a total rip off. Stay away from these guys if you know whats good for you. I wish I had.
