great party
I have hosted two gold parties from Gold Party Prospectors and enjoyed both of it. All my guests were so happy and had fun. I did not hear any complaints at all. The first one that I hosted, I sold 1 set of bracelet, necklace, earrings and ring and was paid $800.00 for all. Prior to that party, I have had it appraised some place that buys gold and they were to buy it for $550.00, so I was happy that I did not sell it to them. The rep was so nice and was very thorough with her explanation. If we don't want her price that we don't need to sell our gold. These ladies who are complaining about them has problems of money. Also, it is not our business to know their security measures about them bringing their cash.

Wanted a little more gold party and a lot less "Julie" the cruise director.
I've been to a couple of these types of home parties before, either from friends or people from work, and they were low key and really fun. But, this one run by Gold Party Prospectors seemed very forced.
The women who was the company rep was more like the over zealous cruise director from one of those cruise ships.
I'm sure that some folks may like that sort of thing, but definitely not the people I've been to gold parties with.
In addition to just being plain pushy, she had a raffle for some little dime store ceramic thing that she made a big deal out of.
I got my $120 for my 6 old rings and just wanted to get out of there.
The company rep did like to flash the cash which made everyone take notice. I do wonder thorough about the security of these gold party reps carrying all that cash as they go to parties in all different neighborhoods.

Attended one of these Gold Party Prospectors parties and wasn't that thrilled. The company rep was kinda of pushy and dominated the whole evening making most of the guests uncomfortable. The one plus was that she was offering cash for the gold.
I didn't like that her equipment was dirty and stained which of course made me wonder about the accuracy of it, but that's just my feeling. One thing that did bother me was that my jewelry was marked with 14kt but she tested it and paid me for 12kt. What's up with that?
If the professional jeweler or manufacturer of the piece tested it and marked it at 14kt. why would this woman say it was 12kt, and pay me for a lesser value piece. I'm very confused about that.
Anyway, I had a couple of hours away from the kids and was able to have a few drinks with friends, but still not a fan of Gold Party Prospectors for getting paid 12kt prices for my 14kt jewelry.

I was invited to a friend's gold buying party and didn't know what to expect. I brought just a few old broken necklaces and single earrings that I didn't think were worth much. Gold Party Prospectors had a really nice rep there to appraise everything. I was surprised that my old stuff was worth so much money. She paid us cash that same evening. I would do this again for sure, maybe even host my own party.
