thanks for saving my day
yesterday i was in a very big trouble. i was moving to a new home with my family and for that i hired a moving company but when i called them i came to know that they are not coming for the move. i actually lost control and acting like a mad person. that time my friend James called Moving On Up on my behalf. James is their regular customer. however movers of Moving On Up actually arrived at the location in no time and started the work without wasting a single minute. though they had no idea about the move and they were not ready at all but somehow they managed to complete the move without a single mistake! movers did everything. they packed, moved and stored all my belongings perfectly. i was really surprised to see their ability! i never thought that i am going to have such a neat, smooth and stress free move. to be very honest i got a lot more than my anticipation. i also found them very reasonable as far as the price was concerned. i am really thankful to all 3 movers for a wonderful day and for saving my day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Worst experience
Cannot be trusted, were very convincing on the phone but very unprofessional broke a lot of my stuff. Still waiting on our money. My wife was very upset she argues with them everyday. Always tell us they will call us back and never do. It has been 5 month they gave me a number to claims have called everyday and never get answers. Instead of hiding just say something. Very unprofessional moving company. I agree that the rest of the reviews that are good are written by them.

Still Convincing
The guys from Moving On Up were Cheerful, awesome, and completely professional they came at the top slot for our moving needs. They moved us in 1 day from a 4 bedroom 3bath to a 3bedroom/3bath apartment in the same locality just a few blocks away including packing, disassembling and reassembling furniture, and multiple flights of stairs.The movers followed the schedule diligently and made the best possible effort for the move to be a success. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier’s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad and hopefully I won't be moving again for long time I shall still hire them.

Superfast Movers
These guys are great! Within 1 day of me asking for a quote, someone called me, gave me a quote, and scheduled a moving date and time. The 3 man team came on time, wrapped up all of my furniture, and moved it to my new apartment within the estimated time frame. Can't say enough good things about this moving company. I highly recommend Moving On Up!

Can still use them
I was required to move my stuff over the course of a weekend. My friend who had used Moving On Up before suggested I give them a call and it was the best decision I made. The mover team was amazing. they were able to send out a truck last minute. (i realized i needed to move on Friday and they were able to send out a truck and 2 movers on Saturday morning!. Within 3 hours we were able to move everything out of my apartment
These guys know their business and customer service and this is the area what really matters .My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashiers cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad and hopefully I won't be moving again for long time, but if I do I shall still hire them.

DO NOT USE THEM....THE OTHER REVIEWS ARE PROBABLY FAKE!
I WAS ONLY MOVING A TV, QUEEN BED, COUCHES, MY DAUGHTERS TOYS AND A STORAGE BOX THAT GOES ON TOP OF AN SUV. WHEN U CALL THEY ASK YOU WHAT ITEMS YOU WILL BE MOVING I THOUGHT I WAS BEING SMART QUOTING THEM MORE THAN I EXPECTED AND PACKING MYSELF. I QUOTED 10 BOXES TOTAL AND ONLY USED 5 AND YET THEY STILL MANAGED TO CHARGE ME 800 MORE. THEY MEN WHO PICKED UP MY ITEMS WERE SOOOO UNPERFESSIONAL THEY ASKED ME IF I HAD PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS AND PACKERS TO PACK MY ITEMS BECAUSE THEY WERE DONE SO NEATLY AND THEY HAD NEVER SEEN A PACKING BOX SPECIFICALLY FOR A FLAT SCREEN TV! SERIOUSLY! AND WHEN I TOLD THEM I DECIDED I DIDNT WANT TO USE THEM ANYMORE THEY SAID I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR THEM COMING. BECAUSE THEY ASK FOR 10% DOWN WHEN YOU CALL I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE FOR THEM TO CHARGE SINCE THEY HAD MY CARD INFO. WELL AS YOU KNOW I LET THEM TAKE MY ITEMS AND WHEN I GOT THE BILL THEY CHARGED ME EXTRA AND WHEN I ASKED TO SEE THE SQ. FOOTAGE ON THE TRUCK THAT I USED BECAUSE I WAS ABOUT TO MEASURE IT MYSELF THEY TOLD ME I COULDNT. BUT HOW CAN I QUOTE 10 BOXES AND ONLY USE 5 AND GO OVER THE SQ. FT? PLUS THEY HAD TO WRAP THE COUCHES IN BLANKETS AND USE TAPE. THEY CHARGED ME 6$ PER TAPE ROLL!! THEY SUPPOSEDLY USED 5 ROLLS BUT AFTER PICKING THE TRASH THEY LEFT I ONLY FOUND 3 EMPTY ROLLS. PLUS ON THE BILL THEY CHARGED ME MILEAGE ON THE QUOTE THEY EMAIL MILEAGE IS INCLUDED SO WHY DID THEY CHARGE ME AGAIN? NOONE COULD TELL ME WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN. AND THEN TO TOP IT ALL OFF IM STILL WAITING FOR MY ITEMS TO BE DELIVERED I DIDNT ASK FOR STORAGE I TOLD THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BUT YET ITS BEEN 4 WEEKS. THEY NEED TO START GIVING HONEST QUOTES IT WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER TO SELL MY STUFF AND MAIL MY DAUGHTERS STUFF THEN BUY A NEW BED AND COUCHES.

really efficient guys
I highly recommend Moving On Up. They helped me move my boyfriend's things from storage to our new home. I called them because their prices were very affordable. They organized the boxes in the garage just the way I would have wanted them (with very little instructions from me). My only complaint: they were really efficient! They finished the job in two hours.

Very reliable and affordable
Moving On Up is not a new name to me because I am one of their regular customers. I used them several times and they were outstanding at each occasion. This company has the luxury of having the best movers, most committed office staffs and some great moving vans. I always found them very reliable, affordable, committed, professional and friendly. I always use them and I recommend people to use them as well. I am sure they won’t let anyone down.

I strongly recommend them
If you are looking to hire the best movers then Moving On Up would be best option for you. They have the best movers in business who are well supported by some brilliant office staffs, great vans and brand new moving tools and most importantly they have the courage to step up against the problems. I have used them more than once and they are the best for any kind of moves, which seems to be hard for any other movers.

Super-fast & Perfect!
I have seen several movers over the years but I never seen like them. Movers of Moving On Up were just amazing! They were very fast. They completed the move in no time and they were 100% accurate as well. Nothing went wrong, everything was according to the plan and actually better than my expectation. It was a speedy and perfect move. Big thanks to the movers for a wonderful service.

Nice experience !!!
Good overall experience using Moving On Up . The guys were efficient, polite, fast. Like most of the reviews said: they are professional, friendly and on time I would like to mention one extra quality of they being fast . I really loved their teamwork between the movers. They communicated very well and seemed supportive of each other. The cost of the move was under the estimate which was great, the hourly rate was reasonable and they were less expensive than other movers found on the net The booking center guy was courteous, professional and helpful with all of our questions.

the best movers
I have moved several times and Moving On Up are the best movers that I have worked with. Euell is very professional and kept in constant communication with me throughout the moving and scheduling process. For my 2 BR condo move MOU team were prompt (with a new truck), friendly, and very careful with every piece of furniture, some of which were quite heavy! Each piece of furniture was carefully wrapped with furniture pads and plastic wrap to prevent any damage. Since the furniture wrapping and unwrapping process does take time, I opted for the flat rate move, particularly since moves often can take longer than expected. For a stress free, cost effective move, I highly recommend Moving On Up and will use them again in the future.

Amazing Guys
Moving On Up were amazing. They arrived on time, carefully wrapped all of my furniture, and practically ran the whole time loading and unloading my belongings. Sometimes per hour movers take their sweet time, but my four guys were incredibly fast. And, nothing broke which in my experience with movers in rare. Best yet, they are reasonably priced.

Awesome job
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!! Did I mention Awesome. When I had Moving on Up move my family on this weekend because they managed to move my musical trumpet but they had it out of our old place in record time and into the new place without a single scratch on it Look,let’s be realistic. If you hire a mover and you agree on the places involved in the move and hours involved and a price why not just let the people do their magic. I couldn't help but notice that some of the people who were unhappy with the service offered by Moving On Up had other things going on besides just letting them do their job.. I am sorry as it didn't work out for some people, because like many others I was absolutely pleased with their work. In fact I was so pleased , I voluntarily paid them a quarter more than the agreed price. Good luck.

Reasonable Movers
These guys were fantastic. Euell and his team worked like tasmanian devils to get a big job (all our piles of stuff - ok, maybe I need a few less hobbies with equipment and maybe get better at throwing things out...) moved quickly and at a very reasonable rate. They worked well with me and a friend to get the job done even quicker. Even with their speed, they were careful and everything arrived intact. There were some minor changes of plan, but they kept me appraised by cell phone. The only worry was avoiding the DPT and a double parking ticket, as the fine for a truck supposedly starts at $600!!!! (didn't get one) Great job, guys, and THANKS!!!!

Consistant Guys
Earlier last week was the second time in 5 years I have used the services of Moving On Up and I have yet to have a problem. They are always on time, careful with my things (all furniture was wrapped with heavy quilting) and talkative to boot. They arrived promptly at 8AM and had everything loaded and delivered to my new place by 10:45AM. (It was a twenty-five minute drive to get from my old place to the new one). I tipped each of the two men handsomely and told them they had done a good job. I have been impressed with them. Thumbs up.

Not a positive experience
We were handling an interstate move for our parents who were returning from Florida to a senior living community in Illinois. I agree the initial phone estimate was a reasonably pleasant conversation and the quote was competitive. The price was to include packing of Items as well. We discussed they sensitivity of timing since it was tied to a new lease at the senior facility and I was told that as long as we gave them a full 7 days, they couldn't guarantee on time arrival but it was promising.
We flew from NY to get an in person estimate but Moving On Up discouraged an in person estimate. On the morning of the move itself, I received a call telling me how many boxes we had underestimated. it took several phone calls to negotiate a new price, which I would have preferred to know at the outset but I accept that more space on the truck translated to more money.
The movers left several items on the driveway and said they'd return for them which they never did. This caused us to have to load them into a car that we were arranging to be driven to Illinois. Fortunately, they fit. Two days before the agreed delivery date, we received a call at our home in NY from a driver who had reached Illinois. He insisted on an early delivery which we could not accommodate. On the scheduled day, he showed up but instead of at 9am, at 4pm. He then refused to unload the furniture without payment. My mom is 78 years old but she has moved before, and she knew to wait for the items to be unloaded. I myself have moved several times and have never paid in advance of the delivery of the items.Q When I called the dispatcher they said that they didn't want my stuff but they would drive away with it if she didn't hand over the check. I was in NY but my brother in law in town arranged to meet them and only then did they deliver the items. The move was complicated, but it was a poor experience overall and the service was lacking.

Not a bad choice
We took services of Moving on Up just a month back. For the actual move they were great - swift, pleasant and uncomplaining, even though our elevator was at the second loft was out of service for most of the move. We were so delighted with them at that time -we even bought them lunch and gave them a good tip. The move took 3 hours and it was, by far, the most professional move I've ever been a part of. They came in under estimate. They were nice. And our stuff made it into our new place with no damage.
