I bought a Select Foam mattress for my first apartment after moving to New York City after college. I listed when I wanted it delivered in the comments part of the checkout and it came on that day! It was so easy- Fedex dropped it off, I had the door man bring it up to my room, and then I opened up the boxes and assembled the foundation. I had a brand new awesome bed in 15 minutes. I'd recommend Select Foam to anyone, thanks.

My partner and I bought a memory foam mattress from Select foam about 5 months ago. We wanted to share our experience online.
We originally were going to go with a mattress from another company but heard good things on Facebook about Select Foam. There were some good reviews there.
We ordered the Regalis and love the mattress. The only problem with the mattress was the weight. We are not large people and we needed to phone a friend and ask them to help with getting the mattress in the house.
Once it was in, we unpacked it and let is decompress, and since then it has been perfect for us. Hopefully you like it too, good luck!

I purchased the Select Foam Olympus 14" bed. It was delivered for me the very next day for free. That was 4 months ago, and I've been extremely satisfied with the relief it has given my arthritis. From my initial research on the product, through researching the company and working with a salesman, to waking up this morning, the experience has been wonderful.
I had been very thorough in researching bedding materials before I settled on memory foam. With so many different thing out there today, it really took me looking into aspects like durability, feel, and benefits of the different materials, weighed against what it was that I wanted. For the longest time, I'd slept on traditional spring beds; I never liked them because I was always being awoken by my lovely wife of 40 years whenever she'd get up in the morning for work- she had crazy hours as a nurse. As a light sleeper it was something that I always had to be aware of. My research led me to the conclusion that latex beds would be bouncy like our old spring mattress, and that air would eliminate some—but not all—of the motion transfer from my wife.
At the end of the day, memory foam was what I settled on because it was going to last extremely long, transfer the least amount of motion from wife in the morning, and most important, was going to offer extensive pressure relief. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, I've had a knee replaced and need something like memory foam that can envelop and conform to my joints and other pressure points.
After looking at different companies, tempuredic is what I was initially looking at. Both the wife and myself like a softer mattress, and we even went to a local showroom and settled on the celebrity bed by tempur pedic. At nearly $4000, the price was more than I wanted to pay, and it was going to take about two weeks for it to arrive, so I decided to look into other brands.
Enter: Selectfoam.com. As I was looking around for comparable beds, I finally came across Selectfoam.com. What impressed me was the amount of information the site gave about the product. The mattress lineup at Select foam was made in the same light as the Tempur lineup, with 5.3lb memory foam and the same covers. What was more appealing is that Free Overnight Delivery was offered, and Select Foam doesn't use a Petroleum based memory foam, but a Plant-based memory foam. This allows the memory foam to sleep cool and it is eco-friendly.
The salesman that I spoke to was very friendly, and was able to confirm my pick of the Olympus 14" within minutes of speaking to him. He explained the return policy and the life warranty.
The Price difference is what really perked my ears up. $4198.00 delivered is what I was quoted at Tempur pedic. Select foam quoted me $1999.00 delivered for essentially the same King Celebritybed/ Olympus 14" mattress.
The bed arrived the day after I ordered it and it was and continues to be absolutely amazing. It lived up to the comparison to the Tempurpedic mattress. My wife loves, and neither one of us gets warm on the mattress. The best part, though, is that my arthritis is better. I don't ache like I used to ache, and I just feel less fatigued most days.
I Highly Recommend Select Foam. Just make sure you know what type of bed you want. DO the extra research and you'll end up with the bed you want to. If you do decide on memory foam, go with Select Foam. Ask for Juan, and enjoy your night's sleep!

UPDATE No. 2: As of Augut 15, 2010, SelectFoam.com has now removed their claimed (falsified) BBB "A+" rating emblem from their home page. This company has NEVER held an A+ rating, as I was told in a call to my local BBB rep that A+ rating is reserved for "BBB Accredited Businesses", which SelectFoam.com is not. BBB currently shows a "C" rating for this company, based on number of complaints and unresolved disputes.
UPDATE No. 1: As of July 15, 2010, SelectFoam.com shows a BBB rating of A+ on their homepage, when the BBB report I had emailed to me directly from the BBB shows a rating of C- (which is consistent with their rating since January 2010). You will understand the discrepancy after reading the below……..
We purchased the $1799 Regalis HD King memory foam mattress from SelectFoam.com in January 2010 and returned it in April 2010 according to their 90-day “Risk Free Trial” (more on that below). The mattress itself, which was marketed as having the comfort equivalent of the Tempurpedic Rhapsody, was so hard that both my wife and I developed pressure points (painful areas) on our hips, ribs, and shoulders after 2+ weeks on the bed. And after 40 days the bed was still as hard as the day it was delivered, and thus we decided to return the mattress.
As background, the mattress is actually manufactured by Allied AEROFOAM in Tampa, Florida, and drop-shipped to the consumer. The mattress appeared to be well made (albeit incorporating SelectFoam.com’s poor mattress design). Note that we have subsequently purchased the original Tempurpedic Rhapsody, and absolutely love the mattress – and no, SelectFoam.com’s Regalis is not a comfort equivalent to the Rhapsody – not even close, in our opinion.
However, the point of our posting this review is to inform the consumer regarding not only SelectFoam.com’s (Select Foam, Inc.) business practices, but the challenges of on-line mattress purchases in general, especially when “Free Trial Periods” are advertised. We have made every effort to present what we believe to be the facts, and anticipate that consumers should use this information as they deem fit. Now, let’s really get down to where the consumer is not getting a clear picture of how the company’s policies affect your ability to return their product for refund – because without the ability to return a mattress that is not comfortable you are essentially buying a mattress unseen (and untested) in order to save a few bucks – and who would do something so ridiculous - right!?!?!
First, in several locations on their website they refer to a “Free In-home Trial Period” or a “90 day trial period”, or "Risk Free Trial". To the contrary, the trial period is neither risk free, or free. Reading the entire return policy reveals that the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs AND the original shipping costs, which will amount to (for my Regalis King mattress, without the foundation): $132 original shipping costs; $319 for return shipping (with insurance, after shopping it hard over the internet); $40 for a specialty king box and plastic mattress protectors; and absolutely more hassle than you can imagine!!! We also were informed (at the time of refund) that we get to repay the $99 for the “free gift” mattress protector (which SelectFoam.com has drop shipped to you from BedinaBox.com for about $45). So that “Free Trial Period” equates to about $600 if you return the mattress!!!!!! Finally, a return is subject to an arbitrary inspection of the condition of the mattress for stains and wear.
Secondly, their website states that, if desired, they will handle the pickup for the customer. However, my inquiry regarding their handling pickup resulted in an email response of “Our pickup company only operates on the East and West coasts, so we do not have the ability to coordinate pickup in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.” No company name was provided. This is an absolutely ridiculous statement – what shipping company operates on the East and West coasts without driving thru Texas?!?!?! You be the judge.
Thirdly, and most concerning, the question regarding the cost of return shipping was posed to our salesman, Juan Quintero (aka John), on at least 4 separate occasions PRIOR to the original mattress purchase, and a negative review I found on viewpoints.com claiming a return shipping cost of $400, to which Juan (again) emphatically stated that “return shipping would be $130 to $150.” Later (when we were attempting the return), we were told by the co-owner (Chris Nelson) that John was in the “Sales Department”, and did not know what return shipping should cost. Wow, would have liked Juan to be honest with me and let me know that the cost of return shipping costs was mine to figure out – but obviously making the sale proved more important.
Lastly, regarding SelectFoam.com’s offer of a lifetime or 20-year warranty, the warranty value after 10 years is reduced to 50 percent of the original purchase price with the consumer responsible for paying the return shipping costs ($300 to $400 from our experience), which makes the lifetime warranty worth about $200 or less for a $1200 mattress.
Epilogue: The above was provided to Matt Byrd, President of Select Foam, Inc., for comment and correction of any misstatement prior to posting. I offered to drop all internet complaint postings if an honest, understandable disclaimer would be placed on their website describing the actual costs of returning a mattress, and that approximately $250 in costs that were incurred by me in difference to their representations or website sales agreement was returned. Mr. Byrd elected to not respond to my offer. Really?!?! Go figure…

I am writing a review about the Virgo 8" mattress and foundation that I recently purchased. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase and would do business with Select Foam again. I have never used a memory foam mattress before and it took me about 1-2 weeks to get used to sleeping on it. I've had previous lower back pain that seemed to flare up during the first week sleeping on the mattress, but I haven't experienced anymore since then. The mattress is very firm which takes some getting used to, but it is also soft and comfortable.
Throughout the entire process my only area of concern was the timeliness of my order. It was my understanding that once the order was shipped, I would receive a confirmation email with tracking information which I did not receive. I ordered on Sunday, 3/28, so I called on Wednesday, 3/31, when I had not received any tracking info. I was told that my order had just been assembled, so there was no tracking yet, but it would be going out very soon. I still never received tracking info, but the mattress arrived on Friday, 4/2. I thought that was fairly quick, so that part was fine. I noticed that I didn't receive the foundation that I ordered, so I contacted Select Foam to make sure they had received that part of my order. I was informed that the mattress and foundation ship separately and I should receive the foundation on Monday, 4/5 if it wasn't there already. The mattresses come vacuum sealed with a notice saying to give them 24-48 hours to expand so I thought it would be good to let it expand over the weekend while I waited for the foundation. Monday came and went with no foundation...nothing on Tuesday either. I called Tuesday night to get a tracking number and the associate told me that he didn't currently have access to the tracking, but the foundation should arrive on Wednesday and to give them a call back for the tracking if I didn't receive it. Still nothing on Wednesday so I called back again after 10pm EST because their website advertises 24 hour customer service. No one answered, but I left a voice mail message and someone emailed me back shortly and provided a tracking number. The foundation came the next day, Thursday, 4/8 and the tracking showed that it hadn't been shipped until Tuesday, 4/6.
I received the completed order in less than 2 weeks and I definitely feel that is a respectable amount of time (especially for free shipping). However, I do feel like Select Foam could have been a little more forthcoming with tracking information and when I could expect to receive my order. This has been a positive experience and I probably would've given a 5 star review if I had been given more accurate shipping information. The customer service was always friendly when I called. I was quite surprised and pleased that I was able to speak to a live person most times I called and the one time I didn't get someone on the line, I left a voice mail and they promptly emailed me back. I hope this information is helpful to someone considering making a purchase from Select Foam!

My story is a little different from the rest of reviews on this panel. I ordered a bed from SF on Jan 26th 2010. I ordered the Virgo 8" and got it within a week. The salesman informed me of what to expect abut the bed the first couple of days. He said that it may take some time before I could get use to the new bed since I had never slept on a bed like this before. He also said that most people will be very happy with a bed like this. After 2 weeks of sleeping on this bed I finally made a decision to send it back and get a full refund. The service had been great and all, but the bed was not really for me. After I spoke to one of the managers, he told me that sometimes some customers needed a little bit more support on their lower back and shoulders, and that the 8" bed was not really providing that for me. He said that based on the weight factor the 10" bed would have been a great alternative but I had already selected the 8". He said that select foam could arrange to have the bed picked up within 72 hours or I could add a 2" memory foam topper to the bed. He said that by doing this, I wound not only soften up the bed dramatically, but I would have a lot more comfort and support for my weight. To make a long story short, I ordered the topper, I got it within 5 days, placed it on top of my bed and it worked just fine.
I'm very happy with my new bed. I can truly say that I enjoy a good night sleep now. This people took the time to listen to what my problem was, they helped find the right comfort level I was looking for, and, maybe they were just trying to save a sale, but it worked for me at the end. I hate shopping for new furniture, mattresses, or even clothes, so they helped me fix my problem, helped me save some time, and why not, some money too. That's why I recommend to do business with this folks, they know how to listen to people.
Thanks,
Ronald K.

I ordered the Regalis HD11 a few months ago from selectfoam.com and I couldn't be any happier. I live in Florida, and the Cool-Tec Cover is a life saver. I admit that I chose to buy from Select Foam, Inc. solely based on price, but I was amazed at the service they provided. Not only did they process my order quickly, but were there to help when I had questions the following week. I love my bed, and I highly recommend Select Foam to anyone looking to sleep better at night. Thank you!!!

I bought a memory foam mattress from Select Foam two years ago. The mattress was called the Regalis. It was I think 10 inch memory foam, and came in a shrink wrapped package.
The bed was great. It was quite firm to be honest, but was very soft and super supportive. I play alot of sports and the bed helps me get tons of good rest.
I later came back and bought a smaller spare mattress from Select Foam for the spare (guest) room and was not dissapointed in that one either. It was a lower priced mattress (only a double as opposed to king size) but it was still very good.

I bought a Select Foam adjustable bed set with their luxuria 10” mattress back in July. I looked at a lot of web stores, but this was one of the few that had a truly risk free offer on an adjustable bed. This was important to me. They came and they set up the beds in my house about 2 weeks after I placed the order. Everything came as described, and I began sleeping better immediately. It took a little time for my wife to get used to the feel of memory foam, but after a week or so she too noticed an improvement.
After a few months, I have to say that I’ll probably never enjoy sleeping on a regular flat mattress again. The ability to raise up to watch TV and read trade magazines is amazing. Every night I fall asleep with the massage feature on, and my head slightly raised.
I have recommended this bed to certain family members, and feel it is a great buy if you are willing to splurge on the adjustable feature.

I bought a Select Foam Regalis mattress a month ago. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived to my home within 1 week. There is not enough good things to say about this bed. Since the first night, I have slept very comfortably. It was definitely time for an upgrade. I had my previous bed many many years. My new bed is significantly taller than my old bed, but I have not had any issues getting in or out of the bed. I am so happy that I bought this mattress, and even my husband is sleeping more soundly at night. My only wish was that we purchsed the mattress sooner.

For professionalism and thoroughness, as well as quality, I’m awarding SelectFoam.com the full five star rating. I have always had neck problems. It’s never been debilitating or limiting, but there is a tension that just doesn’t go away. As a practicing anesthesiologist, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a pain that I’m going to always have. To that end, I went on a search to see if any pillows, medical or consumer, would help me manage my problem. After listening to the first hand experience of a manager about his latex pillows, I ended up purchasing a set of Soft Talalay Latex pillows from the company. Diagnosing the right type of pillow for me is like diagnosing a rare disease... Its not an easy thing to do.
The manager over there picked the right type and firmness for me, just by listening to my problems, and by relating them to his own. I still have neck problems, I most likely always will, but these pillows relieve more of the strain than any other pillow I’ve ever owned, and for that I’m very happy.

For years now I've seen the late night memory foam infomercials. About three months ago my husband and I decided it was time for a memory foam bed. I ended up at Select Foam due to the quality of the information they provided about memory foam and the specific product details on their website; I just felt like I wasn't leaving anything to chance by going with this company.
We ordered the Grandis-HD and love it. It is a very thick, soft mattress with a fabulous, elegant silk cover. You always hear about how memory foam can relieve pressure, but actually experiencing it is beyond words! It is amazing.
What impressed us most was the level of service we received. Our Colorado home is in the mountains, which makes deliveries difficult. To make matters worse, we needed to have the mattress delivered on Saturday. According to Select Foam, their delivery partner in the region only did Monday and Wednesday deliveries. So the sales person we were working with arranged for a completely different shipping company to make a special run out to our house on a Saturday, and trained them on setting up the mattress set as well. The company that delivered it showed up on time, and were very quick and professional. In addition, Select Foam gave us a 25 year warranty and a 3 month trial of the mattress.
We've bought everything from art to cars on the internet. It is so rare to find a company that conducts business with such a personal touch. We are very satisfied, and have recommended this company to many friends.

I had been sleeping o a serta mattress for the last 7 years of my life. Recently, I had been waking up with pains all over my body, and specially my neck. I called Select Foam and I spoke to a representative who was very informative and had a really nice attitude. He asked so many questions that I felt as if I as talking to a Doctor.
To make a long story short, I ended up buying a queen adjustable bed with an olympus mattress. The bed arrived within 2 weeks and I was very excited to have my new bed. The first couple of nights I did not have such a great night sleep since I guess my body was not used to a memory foam bed, so I called the same representative to complaint and I told him that if I did not get a different bed I would be filing a complaint. The manager then told me to please give the bed at least 2 weeks so that I can get used to it, and that if this did not work, then select foam will refund my money or I could get a different bed.
The truth is that it only took 6 days from the day I received the bed for me to fall in love with it.
I will not change my bed for anything in the whole entire world. I think sleeping at night is worth more than a million bucks for me.
Thank you select foam for making my sleep better everyday.
