The business cards for representatives of Amazing Realty Deals have the BBB logo, yet when I input their name, there is no report. Has anyone had any experience or contact with this company or its CEO Alan Harris? Legit or scam??

Janet,

No they are not members of the BBB and have an F rating. I suggest you steer clear of this one.

Reasons for this rating include:
Failure to obtain a required competency license.
Length of time business has been operating.
BBB does not have sufficient background information on this business.

Here's the link to their report:

Our BBB has confirmed that ARD was incorporated in Nevada in 2008. Their previous F rating with the Nevada BBB was due to their not having a Las Vegas city license. As Alan Harris, the owner of ARD, reported being here in New Mexico I was able to confirm with the city licensing department of Las Vegas (702-455-3573) that a business owner has to be physically present at their office in order to obtain city licensing.

As of May 27, 2010, Nevada BBB Reliability Report states, "Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB rating of NR. Reasons for this rating include: Although this company is in business, this location has been closed." http://www.vegasbbb.org/bbb_rated_acc_rpt.asp?bbbid=79743&tr=NR&lg=NR&ex=28

ARD came to our attention when it was reported that one of their flyers contained a BBB logo as they are not accredited with the BBB. We mailed a cease and desist letter to Alan Harris of ARD, which he signed, returned to our BBB and stated that it was a former employee who had circulated the flyer as he does not falsely advertise BBB accreditation. We did not encounter any BBB logos on their website.

In addition, to further investigate ARD, I went onto their website, www.amazingrealtydeals.com. I submitted an alias name with my personal phone number requesting relocation services for realtors in the Texas area and I was duly contacted.

ARD has also provided our BBB with their T.V. schedules, in particular Dish Network's.

Actually, Amazing Realty Deals (ARD) and Alan Harris are now located in our BBB service area of Albuquerque, New Mexico. It appears that this business has been operating out of Albuquerque, New Mexico as they have provided us with a physical address as well as a local phone number and fax. We are awaiting their necessary New Mexico business licensing information in order to make a final determination as to their legitimacy.

I would love to see the TV schedule. When I asked them for one they refused to provide one and I hav NEVER seen any ad on any of the cable shows they said that they would be adverising on in my area. They asked for cash, check or money order up front.
