Does anyone know anything about Card Payment Solutions operating out of Santa Barbara,CA? I have been offered an on-line position in sales and there is no report from the Better Business Bureau on them. It sounds legitimate but I want to see if there's anything new out there. I am new to all this so any help would be appreciated.

We definitely have a report on the company and you can view it at http://www.santabarbara.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=15000143 A couple of years ago we began transferring complaints to the bureau in whose service area the company headquarters is located, the Nashville BBB and you can view their report at http://www.bbb.org/nashville/business-reviews/credit-cards-equipment-and-supplies/ipayment-in-nashville-tn-37002830
The Nashville BBB currently has the report on "NR" status which means its being updated. We have received 104 complaints in the last 36 months on this company but you must remember to take into account the number of customers the company has, its nature of business, etc. You should continue to watch the Nashville report.

That is interesting. I had an account with them for a short time. A month after I had closed the account, I noticed problems with prescheduled payments in my checking account not going through. I found that they had used my bank information to remove $350.00 of my money without saying anything to me about it. They noted a cancellation fee on the statement. My contract had no such fee. I contacted them and said I needed my money back. They said they made a mistake and would have it back in my account within 30 days. In the meantime, I am incurring late fees from bills that are not getting paid. They should never have touched my account after our business was terminated. I think they are bad news and untrustworthy.
