John, Allied Auto Finance is a lead generation company. What they do is refer you to a car dealer who obviously will try to sell you a new vehicle. I don't believe this company is an actual lender.

I also received an invitation to lower my car payment through Allied but they directed me to a local auto dealership and gave me an option if I want to keep my current car they will still help me to lower car payment..???? They knew our payment amount and offered to reduce the interest rate significantly...however, we do not have desirable credit rating...I don't think they'll be interested when they find out...since we recently purchased this (used) car...I asked my finance co. if they have this provision...yes...we shall see...Thanks for listening.

Hi there John,
Allied Auto Finance is not a member of the BBB, and they do not have any complaints against them. I would be hesitant to talk to anyone that I haven't requested to about refinancing anything. There are just too many scams out there these days, and with many people struggling, desperation causes people to do things without looking into it and just hoping it will turn out okay. If you are not actively looking to refinance, I wouldn't even give it a thought.
