Is Closet World a good company to do business with?????

I have a question about using Closet World to do 2 walk-in closets in my home. I have read numerous horror stories from other customers indicating extremely negative experiences with Closet World. Although most seem to be 1 to 3 years old. I also noted that the SCLB had suspended their license in 2006 and they were fined. However, on the BBB website, I note this same company has a B+ rating. Based on this conflicting info, I am undecided as to if I should cancel my contract with Closet World and find someone else or proceed. Any insights would be helpful.
Thanks.

Fay,
Did you contact CSLB to see why they were fined? The BBB report show they have addressed the complaints filed against him but if your already in contract with this company, first and foremost, you need to check your contract regarding cancellation to see if that is still an option for you.
Are you having problems with their work? Were you not able to resolve it directly with the company? If not, file a complaint with the BBB, perhaps it may be resolved. Otherwise, I do not see any reason to be alarmed.

Hi Mari, Thanks for your response. I was within the 3-day right to cancel the contract period when I posed the question and the work had not started. During the 3-day period I was in contact with top level management and a supervisor came out to re-measure and bring actual samples of the material I ordered. I also received thorough explanations of systems and processess they have put in place within the last couple of years to resolve problems they had before. Additionally, I have a copy of their performance bond. I feel a lot more confident about the company now and decided not to cancel the contract. My install date is in 6 days so, I'll have first hand personal experience as to how they perform.
