I have received a letter from Revenue Recovery Services - an asset recovery specialist. I signed the contract. Forms were sent to me that required SSN numbers for members of my family. While I understand the government would need to verify our claim, I am nervous about sending an unknown company our SSn's. (They are rated A-((minus)) with BBB). Should I trust them with this info?

Where is this company located? We have several with variations of this name in our database. I would say do not provide the SSN's of your family members, or yourself for that matter - and we'd like to know more about your situation.

Are you using them to locate money you think is owed to you? If a gov't entity owes you money for "unclaimed property" or for some lawsuit (class action), you should be able to collect without having to pay a company to recover it for you.
