Is there anything other than complaining to the BBB and turning these guys into the state attorney general's office that I can do to get the rest of my money? They owe me $2400 still and I won't let that money go - I need it to pay medical bills.

I uploaded my completed forms on Tue, 24 Apr 2012 08:48:05 -0700 I was told on Thu, Apr 26, 2012 13:50:39 -0700 by Alminda – “Tomorrow your 20% will be deposited to your bank account but it will be posted to your account on Monday”; yet I still do not have the additional 20% owed to me per our agreement. They told the BBB "We can assure the customer that as soon as the Collateral Assignment has been provided to us, we will be in constant communication with her in order for us to accomplish this last step"; yet the company is ignoring my correspondence with them.

If the terms of your contract were misrepresented to you at the time of sale, you may be able to cancel you contract regardless of your rescission period as laws prohibiting unfair and deceptive trade practices in consumer transactions have been enacted in every state.

Thank you for the reply; after telling them I would file a complaint with the state attorney general's office they finally deposited the rest of my money. Now; another question...anyone know about fair lending practices in Florida? I had to pay 50% of my retirement funds to them (or will over the course of 5 years repayment) for their "fees". for instance; out of $24,000 I would receive over a 5 year period; they will charge me $12,000 for my loan. Crazy I know but I was desperate for a loan and need medical care due to Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.
