RE: multiple unauthorized charges spread out
|
I was charged six additional times over a ten-day period for services I expressly unchecked. After reading online reviews, I am not alone. I have filed complaints with the DOJ and will continue to file complaints with every government agency that will listen. They blame the consumer’s computer or internet when they are confronted. This company is operating in a manner that, in my opinion, resembles a predatory scheme meant to defraud vulnerable people. The spread out small amounts charged is the main feature of the scheme, not a bug, as I see it.
I am awaiting a refund and will update my reviews if ever received. Please consider reviews when choosing a vendor for this important step. The DOJ has them on an approved list, but that does not mean they are vetted by the DOJ. If you have been a victim, please complain to the Trustees Program, the DOJ, the FBI, and state AG in California and your own state. Together we will demonstrate this is not a “computer issue,” but rather a method by which to, in my opinion, quietly defraud consumers and blame computers. Millions of successful transactions occur online each day without suffering this “flaw” they claim consumers are responsible for.
