THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. RUN. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION I purchased this gun prior to Christmas and it was a gift to my son. We were in another state over Christmas and when he opened his gun and charged the battery for 6.5 hrs., and put the battery in the gun, it did not work, it didn't make any noise at all--nothing. We charged the battery again, overnight I believe, and still nothing. We traveled home, and when we got home I called Airsplat, and after holding for at least 25-30 minutes, I finally got a person to speak with. He had me check the fuse, and do a few other troubleshooting things, none of which worked. He then told me to ship the gun back and they would either repair it or send a new one. I shipped back the gun, the battery and the charger. I paid $25 to ship it back, and after approx. 2 weeks, we received another gun--there was no indication whether it was a new gun, or his original gun repaired. However, all we received was the gun -- no battery -- no charger. I called again--and was on hold again for 20 minutes at least before someone got on the line with me. I told him I had shipped our battery and charger back with the gun the first time, and now we have no battery or charger. He said, it wasn't that he didn't believe me, but that he would have to check into this and get back to me. After I believe 2 days, I had not heard anything, so I called again-and waited again for at least 20 minutes before someone got to me. This person told me that a battery and charger would be shipped to me. I asked when, and she said hopefully today or tomorrow. After about 7 or 8 days, I received the battery and charger. We charged the battery for 6.5-7.5 hrs. and NOTHING happened again. The gun did not work AGAIN. I called AGAIN, and waited AGAIN for 20 minutes to get help, and I told her it didn't work. She asked if the battery was getting warm-I told her no, and the red light was just flashing on the charger. She said they would send a new charger. At this point we left the battery charging overnight, because nothing worked anyway. My son tried the gun with the battery again, and it worked very slightly. It was not feeding the bb's properly, and it would start out shooting fast and immediately slow down to a full stop within 5 seconds, and then it didn't work anymore. Then he would charge the battery again, and the same thing would happen. I just received the new charger 2/14/11. I called and was on hold again for 25 minutes. When someone finally got on the phone, I told him I wanted to return this gun, battery and charger, and wanted to be done with Airsplat. I wanted a refund, and was fed up with dealing with this gun. He started telling me that there is only a 30 day warranty, and something about me having 3 days to inform you of my intent to return the gun. This gun has NEVER worked properly not once. And we are going on 2 months since I purchased this. He told me that they could refund my money. I packed everything up and shipped it all back ($70 later) They actually tried sending me another gun-ignoring all my messages NOT to send me one more thing-I refused delivery from UPS and called my credit card company. They are doing a charge back and pursuing them on my behalf. CALLING YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY IS THE ONLY HOPE YOU HAVE FOR GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK.
