Alaska Breeze was called because my air conditioner would run but no longer cool. Someone suggested that the coils may need to be cleaned and I noticed an ad in The Flyer for this company offering a complete cleaning for $19.95.
I called and scheduled an appointment of the next Saturday. The repairman was on-time and polite. He checked the unit and informed me that I needed a new unit. After explaining that I could not afford one at this time, he then told me the company offered financing, etc., etc.
He than told me he could get it running by replacing a "cap" for $150. I agreed and within a short time the air was running. I paid and tipped him $20. Eight days later a cold front arrived and I turned off the unit. Two days later I turned it back on and it didn't work. I called and was told that they would come out but if it wasn't something they had caused there would be a service charge! It had only been 10 days since they repaired it. The women I spoke to at the company said "He repairman) told you you needed a new unit" and refused to send someone to even look at it. I would not recommend this company! They don't care about the customer and don't stand behind their service.
