I hired Aria & Associates, Inc to help me with a loan modification. Unlike their promise to contact you every two weeks and keep you abreast of your situation, it never happened. I was the one calling to find out my status. Then, I received a letter from my lender that my request was denied. Per Aria's contract on page 12 section 11 under "Refunds" if they can't get your loan modified, or if you send in a letter of cancellation, they will refund your money within 7-24 business days. I faxed in my letter of cancellation as well as the letter from my lender about denial of the request on 12-22-09; here it is 2/1/10 (over the max 24 day time limit/their contract) and still have not received my refund.
