Do not do business with Aztil
|
Do not do business with this company. Their technicians are not qualified for refrigeration. Furthermore, they will charge you for labor even if your contract says they won’t. Your price for parts will be inflated to include labor.
I signed a two year service contract with Aztil to start April 2015. Their contract includes labor at no charge. I pay for parts.
I had a problem with my refrigerator. My freezer wasn’t working properly. A tech came and claimed he fixed the problem. The next day the refrigerator side was freezing the food. Another tech came out and he found that the controls had been wrongly set. The new tech set the controls and the refrigerator then worked.
Recently I had a problem with my toilet. I was given an estimate for $65 to repair the toilet. They were going to send out the 1st refrigerator tech to fix my toilet. I didn’t trust him since he bungled the freezer repair. They sent the 2nd refrigerator tech to fix my toilet. He gave me an estimate for parts of $65. I thought that was high. So I called a plumber to fix my toilet. He charged less than $65 to replace the entire components in the tank and that included labor.
Aztil not only has incompetent techs, they bill you for labor only they hide it in the cost of their parts.
When you are assigned a window for the tech, they don’t honor the scheduled time.
There is an air conditioning tune up that’s included in the contract. The technician came out and with high pressure sales tactics told me I had air conditioning parts that were likely to fail. These parts cost $237. The air conditioning unit is a 2009 Trane unit (6 years old.) I suspect these parts were not going to fail based on the quality of their technicians.
I wanted to terminate this contract. I asked Garry, the Manager to terminate my contract and refund the portion I haven’t used. He refused. Buyer beware. Stay away from Aztil.
