Do not order from them!!

I placed an order on December 7 and haven't received it as of Jan 2, but they charged my card for the full amount on December 12. I received absolutely NO correspondence or updates from them about my order until I emailed them, and the "track your order" option on their website displays nothing other than "processing." After two weeks, I sent them an email (which was hard to find since they have virtually no contact information on their site) and got a response telling me that the product I ordered was backordered and they were waiting for the manufacturer to ship. Well, it sure would have been nice to know that before I ordered! Every other online store has a notice when an item is out of stock/backordered but not BDC! They didn't even send me a courtesy email after I placed the order. So I waited another week, sent another email, got the same response. I needed the item for new year's but it became clear that wasn't going to happen so I had my bank reverse the charge.
I highly doubt I'll ever even get my item and I let them know they REALLY need to change their policies. Their website says they charge cards 24 hours before an order ships. Uhhhh yeah right! Customers don't like being charged and then getting absolutely NO communication from the vendor whatsoever, and they especially don't like not receiving what they've paid for. Looks really shady. It's also bad business not to let customers know an item is out of stock before (or even after) they order. I will NEVER order from here again!! I really wish I had read these reviews before placing my order.
As a side note, I think RaveReady.com is run by the same company. I ordered an item from that site and received it in plenty of time! :)
