Hired Mr. Hildebrand for remodeling on my home in April 2008. Work is highly substandard - do not hire for painting or drywall texture work; no skills. Work ethic is horrible. Not reliable. Never on time. Shows up for an hour then disappears. Doesn't pay his subs (we had them come to us). Filed mechanics' liens on our property for work not performed and for jobs we never contracted him for. Completely dishonest. He has an outstanding corrections notice on the permit he pulled for work on our home and abandoned the job in lieu of making corrections mandated by county building and safety. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. On our remodeling job we hired 7 major contractors for work. 6 went beautifully. Chad was a complete and unmitigated disaster.
