There's a reason that the Better Business Bureau rates this company as a "D." Does a respectable, honest business truly only accept cash for services and materials? Sounds shady. Have you seen this place? There are pieces of glass and mirror that are older than my grandmother. Drive by and see if you can see inside the windows (you can't). This place tries to offload this old, scratched stock on unsuspecting customers. Just in the last two weeks, not one auto glass job went as it should; the wrong glass came in three times for one car! The wrong windshield for another car was just glued in with way too much silicone so it would stay. That same windshield has scratches in it, so the owner said to try to buff them out - "Maybe they won't notice." Seems like since the owner only deals in cash (note the play on words here), and uses ancient stock on hand, you'd think that he could afford to pay his employees, but that isn't the case. Some employees don't even bother to show up because they know that they may not be paid. The one that did show up last week performed the work of two or three people (the others didn't show up), worked without breaks, and wasn't paid. The owner told me that this worker was nothing but trouble. Funny, but that worker was holding the place together. Don't ever go to Classic Glass in Santa Cruz - it's awful!
