We stayed in an small apartment close to the beach. The kitchen was well assorted, with most necessary utensils, old scratched teflon pots and pans. They offer it as partial ocean view, but it really have a view of the grill on the patio. There is actually no privacy and we mostly had to have our blinds closed, besides of not being functional. It is noisy at night because of the pipes "drip" water, all night. (as explained by the person from maintenance).
As we get to know the neighbors we learned that other tenants had trouble with the garage door that they decided to park outside. Previous tenant moved out because he was not happy in this unit.
We called maintenance to fix the garbage disposal because it was not working when we got there. Then we realized that we were invoiced for it and "blamed" for it. The invoice actually said that the disposal was clogged with chinese noodles and tenant should be charged. We didn't eat chinese noodles during our stay, and we mostly ate out.
When I called and talked to the owner, she was really stubborned about blaming us and repeating that we should pay. Even though we explained to her that it was not working from the beginning, and that what their maintenance person found in was not in our menu, she insisted that we have to pay for it.
Charged us $50 and of course, lost our future business.
