My husband and I went to Napleton Nissan to look at cars. Our salesperson, Carlos Perez from the beginning pitched us his sob story about how hes not making any money and how they are going to fire him if he doesn't sell a car. We didn't appreciate the pity party from the beginning. We worked numbers on a car that we weren't crazy about. He wrote up a buyers order for our credit union to approve the loan. WE never signed any kind of contract or any statement saying if we didn't buy the car they wouldn't refund the money. Anyway, carlos told us we would have to pay transport fees for him to get the car we really wanted at that dealership. The next day we decided to go to Maroone Nissan to see their selection. They had the exact car we wanted and offered us a better price. Naturally, we took the deal. Now Napleton is refusing to refund us the money due to what they call a "verbal contract". we have called dozens of times and gone to the dealership twice and nothing has been resolved. They keep giving us the run around over and over again, still refusing to refund the money. Everyone has been completely unhelpful and very rude in the matter. Even the GM Bob, was rude, disrespectful and immature. Every person we talk to ensures us "we will check into it and call you back" not once have we recieved a call. They are running shady business over there and thats exactly why we didn't feel comfortable buying from them in the first place. Maroone was definitely the way to go. They were super nice, helpful and patient with us. Napleton, needs to clean house and get a whole new crew int here if they want to stay in business.
