FreeCreditScore.com refunded me a fee I did not realize I was getting myself into, and I appreciate that. I can't go back and look at the screen as it lay, but I was being careful yet still slipped into requesting a $29.95 fee for 3 credit scores, instead of the 1 free one. There is no reason I would need 3 credit scores, I just figured hey, if 3 are the same (free) price as 1, may as well get 3. Anyway, long story short I got billed for the whole meal deal, and I appreciate that they were willing to refund me the money. I know that whatever costs they accrued by confusing me will help them to be more careful in the future, and I have no quarrel with them anymore.
