I purchased a GE fridge in Sept, 2008. From the day it was delivered it has been freezing food in the refrigerator part of the unit. I have had 9 visits to my home from various technicians. GE claims I have only had 4 "completed visits". Their definition of "completed visits" is when the technician completes work on the unit. Buyer beware!!!!! Once you take delivery on one of their products you are held hostage by their company bureaucracy. They refuse to refund, exchange, resolve!! My next step after 6 months is to take them to small claims court. My advise to anyone considering purchasing a GE large appliance is to do research, research, research! Had I know I would be stuck with this lemon, I would never have signed the delivery slip.
