I hired Galaxy Moving and Storage on 12/10/2010 to load my rented truck and paid THEM $375.00 for their service in moving items and properly loading the truck so that items would not be damaged. They dropped my sofa from the second story, dropped the vacuum cleaner and caused parts to fall out of it, and failed to properly tie down my Harley, which caused the kickstand to become severely bent. I sent repair receipts to Galaxy via certified mail, which they signed for. However, they deny receiving the repair receipts and they deny any liability whatsoever and refuse to reimburse me $142.26 for the repair expense. Their response on the BBB website in the complaint section states that they will provide a credit if I hire them again. However, that does not resolve the issue because I moved out of state, and they know this, so they are therefore refusing to reimburse me for damages. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE UNETHICAL AND GROSSLY NEGLIGENT IN HOW THEY HANDLE THE CONSUMER'S BELONGINGS.
