HIGH PRESSURE SALES DON'T FALL FOR IT!
|
This company's salesperson Jeff is a high-pressure sales person who does not take NO for an answer.... DON'T EVEN CALL THEM unless you want to harassed on a daily basis, called on Sundays, and made to feel stupid! Being a contractor family, we care more about the overall quality of equipment and installation than we do about the price. Jeff was the first AC guy we had over to the house for an estimate on a new HVAC system. We told him from the beginning that we were having several people over, and were not ready to make a decision. We told him that our money (tax refund) was still several weeks away. He tells us that we would be "stupid" for calling anyone else, and our money problem could be solved by opening his line of credit. He low-balled the estimate without even looking at our attic or electrical panel. He told us he had 15 guys ready to start tomorrow, and just needed our signature. We told him NO! He got super mad, and said, "When I leave tonight, this deal is off the table!" FINE! Again, we care more about getting it right than cheap (and how can you get it right if we haven't even surveyed the electrical panel or the attic?)
So he left, and we thought that was the end. Until the one Sunday in February (3 days later) when it was 90degrees outside, and we were in the pool. Jeff calls, "just wanted to tell you its gonna be F---ing hot all week, have you reconsidered?" I told him NO again, that we were still waiting on our money and the other bids.
A week later, he starts texting my husband, and calling him while we was at work. We again told him NO. He called my husband "Stupid" once again.
Yesterday (now 3 weeks later), he's texting my husband that he will take $500 off- oh, wasn't this deal supposed to be off the table once he left?" Again "we can start tomorrow", "lets just get it done!", etc. He advised my husband to M.A.F.D and L.M.K (make a f-ing decision, and let me know). Again, told him NO (by this time, we have our money, and are in final negoiations with a real contractor)..... so then he calls my husband, once again, and calls him "stupid" and says something to the effect of 'wasting your money'
Do yourself a favor, and find a real contractor. Anyone who advertises in the paper everyday is obviously hurting for business, and these sales tactics are horrible!
