Here is the name and contact information to the attorney who is supposed to be filing the bankruptcy for HangTen Getaways. http://jojolaw.com/service.asp. I recommend contacting this person to make sure that they actually file and to be added to the list of creditors if any funds are recovered.
I too rented a house in Hermosa Beach from HangTen Getaways on October 2008, now operating under the new name of "Under The Sun Rentals." 866.678.6001 http://www.underthesunrentals.com/destinations.asp
They sent me a letter stating that I would be getting my full $1,500 deposit back then it followed with a letter stating that I would not because of financial difficulties due to the economy.
