STAY CLEAR FROM THIS COMPANY - Here is our experience: I selected one star because it won't let me select zero stars. My wife and I scheduled our appointments for body scans. Unfortunately the nearest location to our home was a considerable distance away. On Tuesday July 5th, at 8:46 am, a gentleman from this company called me on the phone to confirm our two scheduled appointments. I was advised that there would be a $200 missed appointment fee if I had not arrived for this appointment for any reason. (Not only is this in writing on the forms they send to you, but it was reiterated over the phone). I agreed to these terms and reassured him that we would be there on time. We live in Tehachapi (KERN COUNTY) which is a 2 1/2 hour drive ONE WAY to their location. In order to arrive on time, we left our home at 7:15 am. We arrived 20 minutes early. Upon our arrival we were asked to complete some additional forms. After that we were escorted to a video room, seated, and an instructional video was started for us to watch (buying time). After 20 more minutes, a technician informed us of an equipment issue and that we might not be able to complete our scans. We were told that a repair company had been requested hours prior to our arrival, and that they had thought about informing us of the situation, but they just didn't do it. The technician said "If it makes you feel better, I have to wait here too". This statement absolutely did not make us feel any better, in fact it really pissed off my wife! This situation should've been avoided by a courtesy phone call which is an example of good customer service which this company does not have at all. It would have saved us a considerable commute, time which is hard to come by these days with two teenage daughters and a wife enrolled in college, and money again in short supply with the failing economy. Also why put people through an unnecessary orientation thus taking away even more of their time? We understand unexpected things happen. If this had been our fault, we would've paid the penalty which is what we agreed to in the first place. I asked them to do the same but they politely refused to compensate us for our loss at all - $0. We should've been informed of the situation before we even arrived but instead were treated rudely and left the appointment starving from the 9 hour fast with no food or water, irritated from the lack of customer service, upset about the rude comments and extended commute, and an empty gas tank from driving all morning. I will never use this company again and I recommend you don't either!!!!!
