HOMESTARSEARCH is a joke. There is no communciation when you sign up for the program, so when the 10 day trial expires, the fee shows up on your credit card. I phoned customer service to cancel and they do not issue any monies back, YET I did not have the service for 30 days. When I questioned that, they offered a refund of 19.95 when I stated that if they offer a refund because I did not use the service, It was them admitting that they know what they are doing is WRONG!
Then I spoke with a so called supervisor and he tried full control of the conversation and would not listen to my concern. He hung up on me and told me that I was going to see it his way. I then phoned back to speak to them, and after being on hold for over 15 minutes, the line indicated that the center was closed and I would have to call back during business hours. THIS IS A SCAM! BEWARE of homestarsearch...the are fraudulant- lack of communication, and ignorant customer service.
Sent info to the better business bureau for assistance!
