Hello Kari,
We sincerely apologize for any confusion and we believe there may have been some misunderstanding. We derive our marketing from public records and many times a person will pay off their tax liability, but their name will remain on public record stating they have a tax lien. When people call our company who are unaware they have a tax lien filed against them or if we they have already taken care of their liability, we ask they call either the IRS or their county recorders office to make sure they are completely removed from all lien lists.
If a tax lien has been filed against anyone it is considered to be public information, however, we do not have access to anyone’s personal information without them supplying it to us and would never imply that we did. Ideal Tax Solution takes every precaution to make sure we do not give incorrect information to our clients and potential clients and we will not take on a case unless we believe we could truly be of assistance. Again, we apologize for any miscommunication.
