unprofessional and unreliable ac installer

My rental home's ac is old and broke down. I contacted Mai AC llc to install new 4 ton Goodman package AC in June 2017. Got a call from tenant new ac not working in October, only four months old. Hung, ac installer came over and replaced burnt out transformer. He said tenant switched wires at thermostat, that caused thermostat burnt, and got into rough argument with my tenant. November 2017, tenant turn on heat, heat not working. I called installer again. Hung came and reconnected wires at the unit. One connection turns on ac but not heat. Another connection turns on heat but not ac. He want to set heat on and come back next April to set ac. Trust him no longer, I call another ac tech. Based on what I told him, he knows right away something wrong with wiring. Upon opening up the unit, he found thermostat wire from rooftop is all dry up and cracked. This caused shorted wires inside.
This is brand new ac unit and what Hung ac installer thinking by not replacing old thermostat wire? And blaming it on someone else? That is why I say this mai ac is non professional, non reliable and non trustable.
