Got 2/two MetroPC Smart phones with 1 month paid services for the total of $500 from local store on 1144 e Broadway street,Glendale. The clerk and manager both told us that we have 7 days to return for full refund if we don't like for whatever reason.
After we went home and found that there is NO SIGNAL. ZERO BARS.
I am in sales and I get all my leads in morning by my cell phone and as we also have home phone, my girlfriend asked me to return atleast her phone.
It was weekend on 30th April/Saturday and the store was closed.
I thought that I still have 7 days to decide so I will return on Monday.
On Monday after 2 days, the manager would not take my phones back as 1 of the phone had 90 minutes of talk time(calling and receiving).
I told him that he or clerk never told me and he just pretty much said that goodbye and goodluck? I asked him if he can atleast take the 2nd phone back as it only had 20minutes. And he wont take that either.
After calling MetroPCS 411, I got their corporate store on 2118 W 7TH STREET IN LOS ANGELES,CA. And the lady said that they will take care of me.
I waited 45 in line there and the manager gave me the same answer and told me that MOST PRIVATE OWNED METROPCS DEALERS LIE TO SELL THE PLAN/PHONE and he cannot do anything unless the phone was purchased there.
WHAT A NIGHMARE. I am stuck with 2 phones worth $250 each and with NO SIGNAL IN MY APARTMENT.
