RE: New Mexican Kennels
I was very disappointed with my experience with their grooming services and especially with the way my complaint was handled. I brought my Australian Shepherd to them for grooming for the first, and last time. I had asked to have his long fur cut one-inch. When I went to pick him up, he was completely bald - he had been shaved clean and I didn't even recognize him as my dog. When I tried to find out what had happened, the owner was called out to speak to me and she became quite angry and indignant that I would be complaining about the way my dog was groomed. She was very defensive and did not accept any responsibility for my lack of satisfaction in their service, accused me of being the problem and told me never to come back and basically kicked my out of her establishment. It was almost surreal. I had never been treated that way, ever, by a business and just thought others should know about the owner's behavior and unprofessionalism.
