They don't even deserve 1 star!!!
Let me tell you my story of dealing with OMG Travels. First of all, we should have listened to the reviews when they talked about the communication being horrible and other issues when dealing with OMG Travels. When they say run… They were not over exaggerating because that is EXACTLY what we should have done!
The response time was bad in the beginning, but because of the price we were like we can deal with this, hopefully! Well we made it to LA and went to the office to collect the keys. The service at this time was pleasant. However, we paid for parking as well, two spaces. We were told that if there were any issues to contact them and was given the cell number, well that was a waste of time!!! We made it to our rental and both parks were taken. We contacted the guy in the office and he said he would take care of it. Well guess what! He NEVER DID!!! We would have to stop at the guard booth each day to get a pass for guest parking. Some days there was not a park available so the driver would have to sit and wait for someone to move.
We contacted someone else about the parking situation and received an email the next day. They said they would take care of it and low and behold the final day of the trip, one of the cars that was in our paid parking had moved. We were told that if a car was parked illegally in our parks that they would be towed. ALL LIES!!! We were told that we would get a refund for the parking, NEVER DID!!!
Well long story short this is the part to where you better read carefully… The total payment of the rental was paid in full before our arrival on 11/19. Well low and behold they have been hitting my credit card for charges of $475 ever since December and then another for $665.50 V.R. Los Angeles Rent Payment yesterday, 1/5. Silly me for not checking my account often. WHAT CROOKS!!! RUN I TELL YOU… RUN!!! I contacted my bank about the fraudulent activity and then I called OMG and guess what! No one will come to the phone, they believe in everything being documented so any disputes you will not be able to talk to them one on one, HOW SHOCKING!!! You have to leave your name and your dispute and they will send you an email. What great service!!!
Don’t do as we did and overlook the reviews, I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt and in this case I made a bad decision.
This is a follow-up of what just happened yesterday after hearing from my bank trying to resolve these unauthorized charges 1/27/2016
I received a call from my bank yesterday and they told me that OMG says the charges are for a subscription that I took out. What subscription cost $475 twice a month! Who would be a fool to buy a subscription for that amount! I was infuriated! They tried to say that when I uploaded my information for my stay I agreed to the subscription. A subscription was NEVER mentioned! I received an email stating that we MUST confirm our reservations online else we would be charged $50 onsite when we come to pick up the keys. A gimmick to get you! Nowhere do they mention "Would you like to purchase a subscription" online or on the phone whenever you get a chance to talk to them! They need to be shut down completely!!!
