6 Fraudulent Transactions on eBAY Paid by my PayPal account - $4900 gone in a day
|
Total 6 Fraudulent Transactions on an eBay account paid by my PayPal account - using 1> My Bank Of America Credit card account Linked with PayPal 2> My Bank Of America Checking account Linked with PayPal 3> PayPal credit account. Total amount of fraudulent transactions is $4992.44. The fraud took place approx between noon May 24, 2021 and evening of May 25th 2021 - until when I realized the issue - PayPal's automated calls came through and I took action. Since then I am working with PayPal and Bank Of America to refund my money lost in fraudulent transactions. I have lodged a Police complaint and copy has been sent to Bank Of America. Out of 6 transactions 3 are refunded kindly. But 3 are still outstanding and not yet refunded - totaling in the amount of $ 2047.98. I am going to escalate this issue with the PayPal and eBay executives too. I have had a very bad experience with the PayPal customer service. For them Fraud is not a reason for the complaint and my claims were rejected.
BBB Complaint has been filed - This is a fraud company - Closed my accounts ... Stopped using eBAY and asked my daughter to close her Venmo account also. Never link your CC and checking accounts with PayPal / Venmo etc. They don't even listen to your complaints.
