This company seems to be taking advantage of homeowners. They mail basically a spam letter made to look official and actually go so far as to say a late fee will be incurred if you fail to respond by a certain date. I've read the reviews on BBB and they/we all say the same thing - that this company is utterly and completely taking advantage of people through a well-worded letter. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS LETTER! As a homeowner you are entitled to this service FOR FREE! On the good side it does state that P.T.R. is not a government agency and there are a few good FAQs on the backside of the letter. Otherwise use this paper to start a fire. If I could give them zero stars I would, but apparently I have to give them at least one.
