Safeguard bimini top is a real danger

We just had a major problem with one of Safeguards Bimini tops.
While going down the river at about 20mph. One of the support poles just snapped. I mean it broke completely off and left a very sharp edge that very nearly hit my 5 year old daughter. That could have injured her bad. After inspecting the metal a little closer, it was very thin and brittle. I have pictures but do not think I can upload them onto this site. If you would like to see them, please just ask and I could send them directly to an email address. I firmly recommend not buying a top form Safeguard. Someone will end up getting injured.
