This company came to assess a warranty insurance claim for heating problem in my house. The technician told me my system was 90% clogged and needed $500 cleaning and replacement of a controller card. I argued with the owner of the company that there was in fact NO dirt present and he should come and re-examine the issue. He would do no such thing - why? because this would negate a large payment from me to him for the cleaning and repair. The mis-reporting of the dirt caused a denial of claims with the insurance company. This forced me to pay a different technician to come out and actually diagnose and repair the problem correctly. (A loose wire inside where the first technician didnt even look was found. Connecting it resolved the problem). Bringing this to the owner again he called me names and said I was lying. I have no reason to lie about trivial things like this. I think the public should be warned about scam artists like this. I reported to the BBB and CSLB.
