Gordon law firm contacted me a week before my home was set for auction. I was told over the phone that their lawfirm specialized in stopping foreclosure sales and could stop the sale, they could get my home back to me and lower my payments. The next day I drove to Beverly Hills and upon entering the office I was told it was my lucky day cause Mr. Gordon has a track record of over 90% success in cases like mine and he was going to personally handle my case. I was then escorted to.a posh office where I was greeted by Chance and a "team" of lawyers. I have to admit I was impressed by the VIP treatment, which I now know was staged. Mr Gordon was on fire on how he was going to sue the lender, the appraiser, and lower my parents by over 600.00/mo. I gave him a down payment of $1000 with a total of $5000 to be paid over the next few months. Needless to say after paying a total of $3000 I never heard from them again other than one phone call to say "sorry, we couldn't stop the sale since it was on a holiday,". Lost my home, my pride and my $3000. I'll give him credit though, he's a smooth talker and quite the scammer.
