In December of 2009, I talked to Shawn Banks about selling my timeshare at Blue Ridge Village in Banner Elk. I also wanted to rent my week between Christmas and New Year's. She called me on 12/23/09 and said she had a renter. By April, I still hadn't received any payment, and I called Shawn. She admitted that she owed me money and said she would send it. After numerous phone calls which were never returned, I made a trip to Banner Elk, but she was gone the day I arrived. The people in the office are very nice, but nothing ever gets done! I have a record of all my phone calls and voice messages I left Shawn, but she never responded to any of them. Renting my condo to someone, but never giving me any money for it is ILLEGAL. This woman and her company should be out of business. I live in Mississippi and it's a hassle to deal with it, so she's getting away with her bad behavior.
