A Nightmare for Any Small Business---Avoid If Possible

I never write reviews. I am the owner of a small business and do not have time to review suppliers or vendors. We Pay is so unbelievable bad I am forced to write about my experience, which is still to be resolved. I joined Freshbooks about 3 months ago and selected We Pay from their list of available credit card processors. I tested We Pay several times over the past three months to make sure it was working and then began to send out invoices to my clients from Freshbooks, with We Pay as the embedded option for my client to make an immediate payment online. After receiving abut $6000 in payments from about 10 clients We Pay, without notifying me first, reversed the payment from clients and returned about $3000, which they pulled from my bank account! At first I though this was a Freshbook error and called their tech support, which is pretty good, and they told me We Pay made the decision. I then tried to contact We Pay tech support and got NO response, nor an explanation. I had to immediately contact my clients and apologize for what happened, making my company appear unprofessional. I found out a few days later that We Pay decided my company was a "financial services" company and was not entitled to use their stupid service. My business is bookkeeping and accounting for pension plans. I wrote a full explanation to We Pay to try and have them reverse their decision and never got the courtesy of a response. So the bottom line is DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CLIENTS' ACCOUNTS. WE PAY WILL MAKE YOU LOOK UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT RESPOND TO SUPPORT REQUESTS.
