If you are thinking of planning a wedding on a cruise that contracts their weddings to The Wedding Experience (Carnival, Royal Caribbean & Princess), DO NOT DO IT. The customer service is AWFUL, that is if you can even get them to respond to emails or phone calls. The consultants don't even know what they advertise in their own brochures. I was told that I couldn't add a 2 hour reception because I was getting married in Bayonne & told that the port doesn't accomodate a 2 hour reception. Turns out, that was WRONG. They tried to tell me that I was told this information on 1/28/10, which I was not. I can't book a hair appointment at the salon on the ship "because you'd be too rushed". I have to be at the port at 10:00 am for a wedding that isn't even happening until 1 pm, but I wouldn't have enough time to get my hair done. They charged me $100 because I am getting married in May, $100 because I'm getting married on Explorer of the Seas, a $150 reception booking fee & $275 because I have more than 25 guests attending. We have a total of 13 people going on a cruise with us on 5/27/10 for a total of over $20,000 plus the cost of the wedding which so far is $6,000 & they refuse to waive a $275 fee. They have ruined what was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life & make absolutely no apologies about it. You will be sorry if they are handling your wedding.
