Zecco used a bait and switch to lure me to their business. They offered free trades for accounts over $25000, then removed free trades and charged 4.95 a trade. They refused to waive ACAT fees for their current customers that did not sign up for this price. So customers were either stuck to pay their new prices or get hit with large ACAT fees to simply get back their stocks. Zecco also had the option to do Journal Request Transfers with some brokerages and these transfers are far simpler and require only one signature from them. However they refused to do this in an effort to attempt to extort more money out of their customers. Their contract did not say they refuse to do JRTs. Their customer service merely ignored me and told me they did not care what I did, but I would have to pay them one way or another. I told them I would file a complaint with the BBB and FTC and they actually laughed at me. They are extremely unethical and I was surprised to have encountered such dishonest people.
