I paid Compatible Partners $400 for a one year term, 6 months ago. Compatible Partners is the Gay and Lesbian site, hosted by eHarmony. 6 months into my subscription, they canceled it on me without providing any reason nor offering any sort of refund.
I filed a complaint with BBB, but had no success getting a refund. Go figure, and they give them a A+ rating with not one positive review. How does that work?
Now I find out that eHarmony is a right wing Christian organization that was forced by court order to include gays and lesbians in their match making.
I agree with the rest of the reviews in regards to being matched with non active/non paying members. I would also say that more than 50% of my matches were from another country. Yeah, that makes for an easy dating experience!! Yes, I live close to the boarder, but that's unacceptable.
Save your money folks. eHarmony is a total scam, and there isn't a Christian thing about them. And what ever you do, don't even sign up for a free membership, it wont do a thing for you, and it will lead others to believe that they could actually pay money and talk to you..... not!
Being unable to find a phone number or email address for eHarmony should have been my first clue!
